A project set in a future where overpopulation is solved by an AI that calculates each person's potential at birth. This decides whether they will join human society or go to the Future Food farms where they are raised to one day be eaten. The general population is willingly ignoring these things as long as they get to live prosperous lives, and the Future Foods are indoctrinated to believe their purpose is holy and necessary. It isn't a human rights violation if they were never considered humans, after all. It is a bleak outlook on morality, consumption and the fickle nature of laws.
The original project involved an exhibit where I carved people's figures into fruit and gave them their food self to eat.
